On one of our walks in the Schwäbische Alb region we had nearly reached Campus Galli, a historical settlement that people are now building, when the expanse of this view struck me.
I'll explain more about Campus Galli later. [Explored on 27/10/2022, #111]

Die Martinskirche ist frisch renoviert und somit wieder geöffnet!
Das Einzig noch nicht Fertige ist die Asamkapelle. Wir sind hier im Chor der Kirche und blicken zur Decke. Im Chor scheint noch durch, daß diese Kirche urspünglich aus der spätgotischen Zeit stammt. Die Fresken (1770) sind von Meinrad von Ow, der zusammen mit J. C. Bagnato die Pläne für die Umgestaltung der ursprünglichen Kirche ausarbeitete. Stuckaturen (1772) von Johann Jakob Schwarzmann. Bei dem Blick nach oben gerät in Vergessenheit, daß diese Kirche von der Architektur schon im Frühklassizismus angekommen ist aber die Dekoration und Ausstattung noch ganz dem späten Rokoko zugehörig ist.
Das Thema des Freskos ist das Abendmal.
